Here are answers to the most urgent questions we have been hearing from our customers. For other important updates, resources, FAQs, and more, visit our COVID-19 St. Hilary Parish Information Center.
The COVID-19 pandemic is being used by hackers to send a large number of cyber-attacks to remote workers via phishing campaigns, spam messages, and social engineering calls. Please be careful so that you don’t fall prey to these false attempts to get personal information from you or get you to send money.
We have asked you to continue sending your weekly contributions by mail or through our online giving system on our website (a little more on this below), and to continue paying your child's school tuition by mail or online as you normally have throughout the school year. These have been valid requests. You may also drop off your weekly contributions or tuition payments by depositing a check or money order (no cash) in an envelope and depositing it in the mail slot by the rectory's front door. Be sure to include your envelope number, if applicable.
WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO SEND MONEY BY WIRE TRANSFER (SUCH AS WESTERN UNION) NOR WILL WE ASK YOU TO SEND MONEY TO ANYONE PERSONALLY, EVEN IF IT SOUNDS LIKE THE REQUEST IS COMING FROM ONE OF THE PRIESTS OR STAFF MEMBER.
Some parishioners have received a request from someone who is saying they are Fr. Diego (it's not) and that he needs a favor. IGNORE THIS REQUEST. Fr. Diego has not and will not send out this type of request.
